PARENTAGE (undocumented): Alocasia micholitziana 'Green Velvet' x Alocasia cuprea (given that the original plant was supposedly collected in Indonesia, a natural hybrid of Alocasia micholitziana, native to Philippines, and Alocasia cuprea, native to Borneo, is unlikely)

HYBRIDIZER: Natural hybrid. Indonesian grower AstriYanto introduced Alocasia ‘Golden Bone’ to the market in 2006, after getting a specimen from a friend, who supposedly collected it from the jungle.

VARIEGATION: YELLOW MOTTLED

INFLORESCENCE: Dark reddish inflorescences, similar in coloration with abaxial sides. Orange berries
