ALOCASIA REGINAE ‘MIRI’

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION: Alocasia reginae ‘Miri’ is a cultivar of Alocasia reginae first introduced by Malesiana Tropicals and is a vigorous grower, usually reaching larger sizes than Alocasia reginae 'Elaine'. This cultivar is not vey common in collections.

Alocasia reginae ‘Miri’ abaxials are quite dark red in color, and the adaxials are a much darker green than in Alocasia reginae ‘Elaine’, with just a bluish tinge to them

The cultivar epithet ‘Miri’ refersh to the city Miri, on the northen coast of Malaysian Borneo.
